About this event

Welcome to Malmö Team Weekend II! The second iteration of our flagship team tournament in Quality View Hotel, which also hosts Malmö Wargaming Weekend in October. 24 5-man teams will face off in a 5 round team tournament, using WTC terrain and rules. GOLDEN TICKET EVENT The winning team will receive 5 golden tickets and qualify for the World Championships of Warhammer in Barcelona on tne 3rd-6th of December 2026. MTW is hosted at Quality Hotel View. It’s a new fresh hotel with well lit, well ventilated, gaming rooms. Outside the gaming rooms there is a large open space to chill out between the games and enjoy the free ice cream and coffee. We will be able to give you a 15% discount on the rooms at a later date. How to get there Malmö Quality Hotel View is located next door to Hyllie train station. Hyllie station is a single stop from Copenhagen Airport and Malmö city by train, and if you go by car it’s just a 3 minutes drive from E6 highway with parking across the street 120 players Malmö Team Weekend 2 is a five player team tournament (24 teams total, for 120 players). The event will use WTC terrain and terrain layouts and WTC rules. Make sure you have a team ready before one of you buys the ticket. The ticket is for five players and (optional) one coach (who can replace a dropped team-player if needed). Dates and deadlines December 1 – Ticket release April 25 – Codex, errata and FAQ cutoff April 26 – Last day for list and player registration on Veizla April 26 – Last day for list and player registration on Veizla April 27 – Lists are public May 2-3 – MTW2 tournament Refunds are only given on team ticket. If one person wants to drop out of your team, you’re responsible for finding a new member and sort the money between yourselves.
